Coming up activities

This year is one full of fun activities. The following is what we have planned.

April 23 @ 6:30pm (Friday)... Adult Progressive Dinner
We will be sending around sign ups for those to participate and others to hold part of the course at their home. This will be a great time to learn more about those in your ward and have some fun.

May 15 (Saturday).... Service Project
If you know someone that is active, inactive, not a member... no limit on who needs the service, but we would like to have several projects to send groups to. This includes kids help. What a better way to spend time as a family and teach a kid to serve?! I know one of mine could use the experience. Email me at wardactivity6@yahoo.com for suggestions.

June 26 (Saturday)... BBQ & a little competitive kickball (RS vs. Elders??) at the Park
Who doesn't love a BBQ? We also thought that it would be fun to get a game together. We will have to figure out teams and know who would like to play. There will be some kid fun too.

Nothing in July
Between the 4th and 24th, July is busy enough

August 6&7 (Friday & Saturday) ... Ward Campout
We haven't picked a place yet. Anyone have any ideas? We would also like to see more families there. Even if you don't have a tent trailer... pitch a tent and make some friends. We'll be in a tent! Can anyone suggest a purpose of getting together? In our other ward, it was patriotic and we retired a flag.

September 17 @ 6:30pm (Friday)... Adult Formal Dinner
Title says it all!

October 29 @ 6:30pm (Friday)... Halloween Carnival & Soup and Scone
Title says it all!

November 12 @ 4pm (Friday)... Multi Cultural
We thought that it would be great to learn about other countries. Those that served missions in other countries... or even a different state (example: southern states) to volunteer.

December 10 @ 6:30pm (Friday)... Back to Bethlehem
Family Christmas dinner. Simple. Back to why we celebrate Christmas. I'm really excited about this one.

If you have any suggestions/ideas, let me know. I would love to hear them. Thanks!
Sarah
